Slip on caps are an outside fitting cap that is suited for applications requiring the entire length of a packaging tube to be utilized. This cap is applied around the outer diameter of a plastic packaging tube offering the maximum internal tube size with no interference with the product inside.

Polypropylene caps are more bulky than other styles of slip on caps, but they are easier to use due to their injection molded design. Lead in chamfers and radius’ are manufactured into the bottom edge of these caps which allow for easy alignment, application and removal. These caps also have attractive knurled side finish for extra grip.

Butyrate caps are vacuum formed from a sheet of butyrate plastic. The vacuum forming process gives this cap its water clear appearance which pairs nicely with our clear Plastic Packaging Tubes. This combination allows the package to be completely transparent from any angle.
