Tape and Velcro Application:
Double sided tape and velcro are popular solutions for permanent or temporary adhesion in any application, and many customers request that one of these items be applied to their custom plastic extrusion. Our team of engineers developed tooling that allows us to apply adhesive-backed strip to most extruded shapes. The strip application takes place in the extrusion line eliminating the need to apply the the adhesive strip in a secondary process. This saves our customers time and money.
Routing, Milling, Drilling and Hole Punching:
Some products require more than one manufacturing process to obtain the customer’s desired function. These applications usually require a custom plastic extrusion be modified in a number of ways. We offer a variety of secondary processes to ensure those customers can obtain the exact product they desire. Our team of engineers design tooling that allows us to drill or punch holes, mill slots, or route chamfers in most extrusions.
